Delta Planning has secured outline planning approval for a 400,000 sq.ft logistics development on the edge of Newark on behalf of Tritax Big Box REIT and Simons Developments. The approval was granted at appeal following an initial refusal by the District Council against officer recommendation. The scheme represents a first phase of a potentially larger development totalling 1.5 million sq.ft that is currently being promoted through the Local Plan.
